Introducing: The Historic Homes Tour

Explore Gonzales history at your own pace on this self-guided driving tour of more than 70 beautifully preserved historic homes. Covering approximately six and a half miles, the route highlights the architecture, people, and stories that shaped Gonzales, with audio or written narration and clear directions at each stop. Total driving and history time is about 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The tour is designed to be narrated by video or read once you are safely parked at each location. Select Begin the Tour to get started. The tour will first provide the address of the initial historic home.

Please follow all traffic laws, observe posted speed limits and stop signs, and remain alert for pedestrians, cyclists, and local traffic. Unless otherwise noted, all homes are privately owned and should be enjoyed from the street or sidewalk only. Park where permitted and never block driveways or roadways. Your courtesy helps keep this tour safe and enjoyable for everyone.
