History & Restoration

This is the original home of Josiah Clyde Bright, the banker and pharmacist featured on the tour a few stops ago on Saint Matthew Street. The Brights and their four children lived in this house until their family outgrew it. This Victorian style house, built in 1898, was restored in 1997.
